Much admired Toronto singer songwriter Charlotte Cornfield's new album, The Shape of Your Name. Recorded by Grammy winner Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Weezer, Julian Casablancas) at a Banff Centre artist residency. The album is a collaborative effort with core members of Broken Social Scene (Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning, Charles Spearin) and features performances by Leif Vollebekk. Similar artists include Phoebe Bridgers, Big Thief, Julien Baker, Soccer Mommy, boygenius. This is the debut album on Next Door Records - Outside Music's new subsidiary label. NDR and Outside Music will support this release with a full marketing campaign and publicity by Ken Beattie at Killbeat Music and Auteur Research. Charlotte will tour extensively in support of this album, continuing the momentum of recent 2018 tour with Broken Social Scene. Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
